Who is eligible for the EKU Mathematics and Science Academy?
The EKU
Mathematics and Science Academy is designed for high achieving students
who earn grades of "B" or better in their high school math
and science courses, have a high school GPA of 3.2 or above, and have
an ACT composite score of 25 or above, with high scores in the areas
of math and science reasoning. Students with a combined SAT mathematics
and critical reading score of 1140 or above are also eligible to apply
for the MSA.

How much does it cost to participate in the summer 2008 EKU Mathematics
and Science Academy?
The cost of the June 8-12, 2009 Mathematics and Science Academy is $350. The fee is comprehensive and covers tuition, housing, meals, and miscellaneous program supplies. What kinds of activities will we participate in during the week of
the EKU Mathematics and Science Academy?
The Summer 2009 MSA includes theme days devoted to robotics, mathematics and music, water quality and lake systems, astronomy, and the application of ethics to science. Students also will work together to produce a final project or poster for the June 12 Parents Day and Ice Cream Social.
